1. General Information

This policy applies to purchases made from Imperial Living within the European Union, both online and in-store, unless otherwise stated.

2. Right of Withdrawal (Online Purchases Only)

For online purchases, consumers have the right to withdraw within 14 calendar days from the date of delivery without giving any reason, in accordance with EU law.

To exercise this right, you must notify us in writing by email or via our contact form.

3. Exclusions from the Right of Withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to:

  • Custom-made or made-to-order furniture
  • Products manufactured according to customer specifications
  • Items clearly personalized at the customer’s request

These exclusions are permitted under EU law.

4. Conditions for Returns

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in original condition
  • Include original packaging where reasonably possible
  • Be returned within 14 days of withdrawal notification

Imperial Living reserves the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund.

5. Return Shipping

  • Return transportation costs are borne by the customer unless the item is defective or incorrect
  • We recommend insured transport for high-value items

6. Refund Process

Once the return is approved:

  • Refunds are processed within 14 days
  • Refunds are issued using the original payment method
  • Delivery costs are not refunded

7. Defective or Damaged Goods

If a product is:

  • Delivered damaged
  • Defective
  • Not as described

You must notify us at the time of delivery.

In such cases, Imperial Living will:

  • Repair, replace, or refund the product in accordance with EU consumer law
  • Cover reasonable return or collection costs

8. In-Store Purchases

For in-store purchases:

  • Returns are not mandatory under EU law unless the product is defective
  • Any goodwill returns are subject to Imperial Living’s discretion
